CHICUTOM & Cliia is an original design brand of drinkware — born in Zhejiang, China’s legendary “Hardware Capital,” where more than 70% of the world’s stainless steel bottles quietly come to life. From this hillside city of craftsmen, we set out with one simple belief: a cup is never just a cup. It is the first thing you reach for in the morning, the companion that walks beside you on a trail, the small ritual that makes an ordinary desk feel a little more yours.

Our Story — It Started With a Mother CHICUTOM & Cliia did not begin in a boardroom. It began at a kitchen table.

Our founder is a mother. Years ago, her child fell in love with a particular water bottle — the color, the shape, the way it felt in small hands. That single moment of joy planted a question she could not let go of: Why can’t every bottle feel this way?

Living in Zhejiang, the heart of China’s drinkware manufacturing belt, she had something most brands don’t — direct access to factories, molds, materials, and the master craftsmen behind them. So she began to source. Then to study. Then to obsess.

She bought hundreds of bottles — different molds, different finishes, different lid mechanisms, different liners. She tested them in real life: how they felt in a backpack, how they performed on a hike, how they survived a dishwasher, how they photographed in soft afternoon light.

What started as bottles for students soon expanded — to elegant pieces for the modern office desk, to rugged companions for outdoor adventures, to thoughtful gifts for everyday rituals.

That obsession became CHICUTOM & Cliia.
